Shepherd Herb Mix is a mild herb blend that we think of as an herb garden in a tin, with a few surprises. It contains a variety of green garden herbs such as rosemary, sage, parsley, thyme, oregano and basil. The addition of lemon peel, lavender and spearmint creates a delightful liveliness to the mix. Shepherd Herb Mix can be used as a rub on chicken, fish or lamb, or made into a pesto to be added to pasta or tossed with diced chicken or tofu. It is a wonderful flavoring for soups, sauces or salad dressings. Use it wherever you might use basil in a dish.
