A traditional spice mixture of North India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, Tandoori Masala is typically used with chicken, fish or other meat in a tandoor, or clay oven. Tandoori chicken is one very common dish, where chicken is marinated in yogurt and Tandoori Masala, then cooked at high heat. You do not need a clay oven to enjoy the exotic flavors of this blend. Use it as an ingredient in a marinade, as a dry rub or as a flavoring for a simple curry dish with coconut milk. Unlike most Tandoori Masala blends, ours has no artificial color.
