Our Vindaloo spice blend will make your house smell so good that your neighbors will all wonder what you are cooking. Vindaloo is an Indian hot curry spice with a mustard seed base. There are 19 spices in this blend, all synergistically balanced to make a scrumptious curry. Aromatics of sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom seed, ginger, coriander and cumin combine with the heat of cayenne and the exotic spiciness of fenugreek, black pepper and nigella. Brown mustard seed, turmeric and curry leaves add to the rich curry flavor. The heat can be taken up or toned down depending on how much of the spice blend you add. The intense flavor will come through no matter how hot you want to make it. It is nothing short of divine in a beef, lamb or chicken curry stew served over couscous or rice with a side of sweet green pea pureé. Try it as a rub on ahi tuna steaks.
