Ethiopian Berberé is a hot and flavorful mix of more than a dozen ingredients.  It can be used as a dry or wet rub on roasted meats or tofu.  Add it to stews and sauces for a bold and full flavor profile.  Subtle flavored dishes such as beans, lentils and potatoes will be transformed into a true delight.  This is a hot spice which can be used judiciously or with recklessness depending on your mood.

    Berbere

Really tasty, with some heat. Livens up even lentils, turning them into a delicious dish. I don't even buy the can, it doesn't last long enough, so I get the 1 lb. bag.

Great as an easy cook dusting on our chicken or turkey leg and thighs. I remember when you guys were just starting out on Tracey rd. Great products

    Not too hot!

I chose this brand because the first ingredient was not cayenne! It's a perfect mix of flavor with just a bit of heat. Not overpowering. Love it!

Great spice for my Ethiopian chicken stew recipe. Careful not to overdo. It’s strong! Excellent shipping time.

This is my go-to gift for any occasion. It's my favorite Teeny Tiny spice because it's so versatile - on meat, veggies, grains. I love this stuff so much. Turkey sloppy joes with this spice is a favorite. Or on a BBQ roasted chicken pizza with mushrooms and goat cheese. You can also just sprinkle it an a baked potato or yam and make something simple, really tummy. I go through more than a few cans a year.

Did the “Three Sisters Salad” actually made it a four sister because I added roasted beets. Dinner company raved about it. A wonderful rich flavor with a nice spice finish. Such a unique flavor that compliments so many dishes. TTS delivers the most unique, fresh spices around. Plus their recipe list is outstanding. Thank you.

    Stunning!

I have been using this blend of spices for some time now for making meatballs (veal, lamb or mix of both) and it is just delicious. I just add some salt, parsley, scallion and garlic...

    Intense Flavor!

I used this to make Ethiopian Spice Chicken Stew from Eating Well. Their recipe called for 5 table spoons of this spice! Luckily I experimented with one and half and it had tremendous flavor and still and a slow heat. I have also tried the British Curry and love both products so far!

    Love It!

I love this spice and especially that it is organic. I made the roasted butternut squash soup that was on the label and it is delicious; though I used 1 Tbs instead of 2 of the spice blend and that was the perfect heat for me. Love your company. I'm very happy to find such a nice selection of organic spices.
