Our facility does not process any products containing gluten, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, fish or shellfish. 

Do you have any salt free blends?

Our current salt free blends are French Four Spice, Garam Masala and Penang Curry.  Most of our other blends are considered "Low Sodium" by FDA guidelines (less than 140 mg per serving).  We include only enough salt to make our blends a "no-brainer" to use and many people like to season their final dish with additional salt. See the chart below for more info.

Are your blends "Sugar Free"?

Some of our blends include Organic Vermont Maple Sugar, and this is listed in the ingredients.  By FDA definition, sugar free is less than 0.5 g per serving, so technically all of our blends are considered to be "sugar free". See the chart below for more info.

Are your products "Non-GMO"?

Yes they are.

How long do the spices last?

Our spice blends have a very long shelf life. We freshly grind and then package each batch to seal in the freshness. Air and sunlight are the two main elements that affect the shelf life of spices. For this reason, we package our spices in tins that seal out both air and sunlight. We have time-tested our blends and have found that even after one year, they still have rich flavor.  In our home, each tin provides enough spice for 4 to 12 main courses for our family.  If you have not used a spice blend four or more times in six months, we figure that it is time for you to clear it out of your kitchen and try something different.

Who certifies your products and facilities?

Our production facility is inspected and approved as a food production facility by the Virginia Department of Agriculture.

Our organic certification is by Pennsylvania Certified Organic.

Our kosher certification is by Earth Kosher.
