Adwiya possesses a delicate flavor with a delightful floral undertone. It shines when added to mild dishes such as chicken, rice, couscous, and legumes, yet it is able to handle the demands of bolder cooking such as slowly grilled ribs. A combination of flavors that is unique to Iranian cooking, Adwiya will become a favorite spice when you want something a little different.

Roasted squash...chef's kiss
Last night I roasted butternut squash and purple onions with just salt, olive oil and Adwiya. Because it is such a delicate blend, I used only 1/2 teaspoon before I put it in the oven. I roasted the veggies at 425 for about 30 minutes, until they were caramelized. Then removed from the oven. Added another 1/4 teaspoon of the Adwiya, and drizzled with pomegranate syrup. I also used some of the Persian Adwiya in my white rice. What a beautiful blend.

Try with scrambled eggs
I discovered Adwiya years ago. It smells amazing, and is delicious mixed with eggs. I've also had it with rice.

The Persian Adwiya Spice
I took my knowledge of Julia Child's Coq au Vin, which means chicken with bone and skin. Salt, pepper and Persian Adwiya Spice. Fry, place in crock pot. Make gravy out of drippings and add more Adwiya Spice. Pour over chicken and cook slowly for several hours. It is amazing!!

Great on Chicken
DIdn't know anything about this spice but it sounded good. So far I've used it on roasted chicken and it was delicious!

Persian Adwiya
My favorite spice in the cupboard. It’s my go-to with poultry. I was going to make chicken the other night and my sons eyes lit up, until he heard I was out of “my Persian spices”... he didn’t want ANY chicken after that! Thank goodness 3 tins arrived today :-)

Genius Mix of Flavors
I love this stuff! Rose petals (2 kinds!) get me every time. It works with dessert as it does with savory things. Crazy fresh and pungent like all Teeny Tiny's spices. Yum!

Persian Adwiya
Very good in cottage cheese, bean soup, hummus, grilled chicken. Subtleness of the spice in cottage cheese is delightful.
