In addition to being used to add heat and richness to any dish Jamaican Jerk can be used as a dry rub or combined with a bit of oil or citrus juice to create a wet marinade for an exotic grilling experience. Well, they weren't exaggerating about the five pepper rating. The flavor is a little nutmegy-er than I normally have with my jerk seasoning, but I really enjoyed it when it paired with my citrus-grilled jerk shrimp recipe. I'm a 4 hit Tabasco/hot sauce kind of person on the normal, so I might have gone overboard with this jerk seasoning in my last batch. Overall though, it is flavorful and keeps the lips burning.
This was my first time buying and am more than satisfied.
